Questions, answered.

How we scope, build, and ship — engagement models, timelines, pricing, our tech, code ownership, and the things you actually want to know before starting a project. Don't see yours? Just ask.

Working with us[01] — ENGAGEMENT & PRICING

How we work together.

Do you work on fixed-scope projects or ongoing retainers?

Both — and we'll tell you which fits before you commit. Fixed-scope sprints suit a defined build with a clear finish line: an MVP, a Shopify storefront, a GoHighLevel app, a Chrome extension. Retainers suit teams who want a senior engineer (or pod) embedded month to month — shipping features, fixing things, and moving the roadmap forward. Many clients start with a project to see how we work, then move onto a retainer once they trust the team.

How long does a typical project take?

Most engagements run 3–10 weeks from kickoff to production, depending on scope. You'll see a clickable preview within the first few days and a working demo every week after that — so "weeks not months" isn't a slogan, it's how the timeline is structured. A focused integration or extension can ship in 1–2 weeks; a full SaaS MVP usually lands in 5–8. We give you a concrete timeline in the scope, not a vague "it depends."

How does pricing and quoting actually work?

We start with a short scoping call, then send a written scope with a fixed quote, milestones, and a timeline — so there's no fog and no surprise invoices. Fixed-scope projects are billed against milestones; retainers are a flat monthly rate for an agreed capacity. If the scope changes mid-build, we flag it, price the delta, and you decide before we proceed. Quotes are free and there's no obligation.

How a build runs[02] — PROCESS & TECH

The stack, the process, the people.

Which technologies do you use, and how do you choose?

Our core stack is Next.js (App Router, RSC) and TypeScript on the front, with Convex, Supabase, or Python FastAPI on the back — plus Shopify, Webflow, GoHighLevel, and Manifest V3 Chrome extensions where the platform fits the job. We choose by the problem, not by hype: the goal is something your team can own, maintain, and grow on after we hand it over. If a boring, proven tool is the right call, we'll recommend the boring tool.

What does your process look like week to week?

Discover and scope, then build in weekly sprints, then ship and iterate. From day one you get a real, clickable build and a single place to see status. Every week we run a live demo, walk through what shipped, and re-plan the next sprint with you in the room. There's no "go dark for a month and hope." You always know exactly where the project stands and what's next.

Why weekly demos — what do I actually get out of them?

Weekly demos are the single biggest reason our builds stay on track. You see working software (not slides) every week, catch direction changes while they're cheap to make, and never wonder whether we've stalled. It keeps us honest and keeps you in control — by the time we launch, you've already used the product a dozen times. No big-reveal gamble at the end.

Who works on my project — senior engineers or juniors?

Senior engineers, working founder-direct. We don't sell you a senior in the pitch and hand the build to a junior team. You'll know who's writing your code, you'll talk to them in demos, and your engagement is staffed by people who've shipped this kind of work before. We keep teams small and senior on purpose — it's faster and the quality is higher.

Ownership & trust[03] — IP, NDAs & REFERENCES

Your code, your call, no lock-in.

Who owns the code — and what happens at handover?

You do. On a paid engagement, all the code, design assets, and IP we create for you are yours, full stop. We work in your repository (or hand over a clean one), and at the end you get documented, production-ready code plus a walkthrough so your team — or your next developer — can pick it up without us. No lock-in, no hostage code, no mystery black boxes.

Will you sign an NDA and keep our work confidential?

Yes. We're happy to sign your NDA before the first detailed conversation, or provide ours if you'd prefer. Client work, credentials, and roadmaps are treated as confidential by default — we don't show your build to anyone or list you publicly without your say-so. If your project is sensitive, tell us up front and we'll scope access tightly.

Can you provide references and client feedback?

Yes — gladly. Tell us roughly what you're building and we'll connect you with past clients in a similar space (SaaS, e-commerce, automation, AI) so you can hear how we work straight from them. The testimonials on our site are representative; the real references are a quick ask away. We'd rather you check than take our word for it.

AI & beyond launch[04] — AI, SUPPORT & STARTING

Agents, maintenance, and getting going.

Do you build AI agents and custom MCP for businesses?

Yes — it's one of the things we do most. We build agentic systems and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that connect LLMs to your real tools and data, with guardrails, observability, and cost caps built in. Think support and ops agents, internal copilots, and MCP servers that turn your CRM, database, or SaaS into a typed, audited interface. Not demos that break on real data — agents that actually ship into your stack.

Do you offer maintenance and support after launch?

Yes. Plenty of clients keep us on a light retainer for monitoring, fixes, dependency updates, and small features after launch — so the thing we built keeps working as your business changes. If you'd rather take it fully in-house, that's fine too: clean code and a proper handover mean you can. Either way, we don't ship and vanish.

How do we get started?

Send us a few lines about what you're building — a SaaS product, an AI agent, a store, an integration. You'll hear back from a founder within 24–48 hours with next steps and a quote. From there it's a short scoping call, a written scope, and a working preview within days. The fastest way to find out if we're a fit is to start the conversation.

Still have questions?

The fastest way to get a straight answer is to ask a founder directly. Tell us what you're building and we'll come back within 24–48 hours.
